Ferndale Park will be receiving a new playground soon! The equipment has been delivered to Crestwood and installation is scheduled to begin by the end of April.
If you have used this playground recently, you may have noticed that the "poured in place" safety surface and the equipment are at the end of their service, so Crestwood decided it was time to replace them both. Timing worked out great – the new playground equipment was purchased at the end of 2023, and we were able to take advantage of a 50% off sale.
The picture above is hanging inside the community center. Who remembers that old Ferndale Park playground from the 1980s that was made from concrete pipes and such? Things sure have changed since then. Looking forward to new adventures for another generation of play!
