Demolition of the old Sweet Tomatoes restaurant on Watson Rd began this week, in preparation for construction of a new car wash.
Back in 2019 the Board of Alderman denied a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) from BriteWorx Carwashery. The applicant then sued the city, the case went to court, but was ultimately settled out of court and their application was subsequently approved in 2020.
