Police Dispatcher

The City of Crestwood, MO is seeking qualified applicants to fill one position of Dispatcher in the Police Department. Under the general supervision of the Field Operations Lieutenant, the duties include: dispatching Police Officers to calls for service, answering 911 calls, answering outside and in-house calls, computer entry of paperwork generated by the department such as citations, booking sheets, FIR’s, wanted/warrants. Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

Starting Salary: $37.320- $39,185 plus benefits including health, dental, vision and life Insurance, and retirement benefits.


Education, qualifications and experience required:

High School graduation or equivalent. Must pass a criminal background investigation. Experience preferred, R.E.J.I.S. Certification a plus.

Job Description



Parks Maintenance Worker

The City of Crestwood Public Works Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Parks Maintenance Worker I. Performs labor required in order to maintain 120 acres of park property and the City’s 50 miles of streets. Operates various trucks, light, and heavy equipment. Performs semi-skilled work that will involve strenuous physical exertion, including forestry, horticulture, landscaping, asphalt patching, concrete work, grading, retaining walls, painting, carpentry, storm drainage, and trash removal from City properties. Employee is on call during winter months to remove snow and ice from City streets, parks, sidewalks, and steps. Frequent lifting and moving of light and heavy objects is required. Work includes non-routine, weekend, and emergency hours.

Starting Salary Range: $34,340 - $36,057 plus benefits including health, dental, vision and life Insurance, and retirement benefits.


Education, qualifications and experience required:

The qualified applicant will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of landscape/forestry, equipment/truck operations, snow removal procedures, construction, etc., is preferred. Must possess or be able to obtain a Class “B” CDL within 3 months of employment.
