As the holiday season approaches, the spirit of community and celebration comes alive with the annual Christmas in Crestwood event. This year's festivities are scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023, promising a day full of joy and community engagement.
Car Cruise Through Crestwood
The day will start with the much-anticipated Car Cruise, a highlight that brings together residents from all four wards. The cruise will begin at noon from Crestwood City Hall, tracing a route through the city in a clockwise direction and finishing back at St. Elizabeth’s Church on Sappington, just across from City Hall. A detailed map of the route is provided below for your convenience.
Santa Stops
An exciting addition to the Car Cruise this year is the inclusion of two 'Santa Stops'. These stops, located at Whitecliff Park and the First Baptist Church on East Watson, offer a wonderful opportunity for children to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus and possibly snag a candy cane.
Winter Wonderland at St. Elizabeth’s
Following the Car Cruise, the festivities shift to St. Elizabeth’s Church for the Winter Wonderland from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Events will include:
- Photos with Santa Claus.
- Talented Balloon Artists.
- Creative Face Painters.
- Goody bags for the first 200 children.
Evening Fireworks Display
To cap off a great day, a fireworks display is set to light up the evening sky. This spectacle will start at 6:30 PM on the field behind St. Elizabeth’s Church, offering a spectacular end to the day's celebrations.
Crestwood is Community
Christmas in Crestwood is not just a celebration but a reflection of our strong community bonds and is generously sponsored by local Crestwood businesses. This event reflects our community spirit that makes Crestwood a special place to live.
